Covers the western shore of Lake Nyasa between the Rukuru and Doangwa rivers, coincident with the shoreline extent of West Nyasa District, and extending approximately 15 miles inland. Portrays hydrology, relief by hachures, roads, settlements and place names.The map is undated, but was made after the arrival of the 2nd King's African Rifles in British Central Africa in 1905, and before the map's accession date stamp of 1907.
